Interfaith Hospitality Network of Little Rock
A Helping Hand for Homeless Families

Welcome to the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Little Rock.

The twenty congregations which make up the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), one of 141 networks nationwide, help homeless families and serve them as a unit as the families strive to become independent.

IHN of Little Rock houses its families in the member churches for one week at a time, and the churches provide meals, companionship, and support as well as safe shelter.

During a family’s stay in the network, jobs are found, support services are established, transportation is provided, and money is saved for housing and utility deposits and rent. Children stay in school, or day care is found. Most importantly, families (defined as a mother with children, a father with children, or a mother and father with children) stay together.

Each family’s goal is to move off the streets and into its own housing within 45 to 90 days with the help of the Network staff and the host congregations.
